Stadsschouwburg Utrecht is one of the largest theaters in the Netherlands. We have two theater halls, a café (Mrs. Dudok) and the Zindering theater restaurant. We welcome more than 200,000 visitors every year. Players, partners and audiences, everyone can count on us for a friendly welcome.
For young and old
Anyone who feels like going to the theater can come to us almost every day. We offer a program for young and old, covering all genres: cabaret, theater, (international) dance, musical theater and much more, such as a monthly pub quiz and stand-up comedy dinners. We also organize our own projects, in close collaboration with our (Utrecht) partners. To offer opportunities to young makers, reach new audiences or collaborate on talent development. The theater is also a recognized training company. Every year, several interns and BBLers work in the office, on stage and in the kitchen.
