English is the Netherlands second language. People from all around the world meet up, converse and get creative in their shared language of English.
As a result, there’s a huge amount of English theatre to be found all across the Netherlands. But it’s not always easy to find.
English Theatre Netherlands aims to be a central resource for international residents, Dutch English-theatre fans and tourists to find out what English language theatre is on.
It is set up by a theatre-lover who was fed up of visiting every different theatre and drama group website to find out what was being staged, or worse, only finding out about it after it happened. It is not a money-making endeavour.
